When I try to login to an online database, renew a book or view my library account information
the system asks me to enter a system ID# and PIN. How do I get my system ID# and PIN?
Your library system ID# is the same as your Myers student ID# or MAC ID# (without preceeding 0's).
For example, if your Myers student ID# is 000001234 use 1234 as your library system ID#. Contact library staff
if you do not know your student ID#. Your PIN (personal identification number) is "myers" (unless you have changed it -- see
below
).

How do I view my library account information?
To view your library account information visit the library account login form and enter your last name,
system ID# and PIN and click "submit".

Can I change my PIN?
All student PINs are initially set to "myers". You may change your PIN by logging in to your library
account and choosing "Modify your PIN". Enter your current PIN, then enter your new PIN twice
and choose "submit".

What if the database I'm trying to access requires a username and password?
Currently three databases require a separate username and password login (LexisNexis, Westlaw and Netlibrary).
Contact your instructor or library staff for access to these these databases. Login to all other Myers Library databases
using your name, system ID# and PIN.

How do I access netLibrary e-books?
Access to netLibrary e-books requires a username and password. Contact library staff for your netLibrary username and password.

I'm looking for a specific online journal or magazine, how do I know what database to look in?
If you are looking for a specific online journal or magazine title, click on "Magazines / Journals" from the library
homepage, enter the title and click "Search". Search results display the database(s) and a link directly to the publication.
