Introduction to MyPAC - Searching the Catalog
Address to MyPAC = http://mypac.myers.edu

MyPAC is the Myers University Library Resource Center (LRC) online public access catalog. Use MyPAC to search for books and other materials in the LRC collection. Request materials online and library staff will put materials on hold, save records from MyPAC to your PC or view your library patron record online.

Entering http://mypac.myers.edu into your Internet browser such Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. This will take you to the MyPAC main page shown below.

Search the catalog by Title, Keyword, Author, Author/Title, Subject, ISBN or Call Number. This guide is a brief intruduction to searching the catalog and will provide examples of basic search techniques.

Other options on the MyPAC main page include Course Reserves, View Your Record, a link to the OhioLINK Central Catalog and MyPAC Help. On the left side of this page are links to other areas of the LRC website:

• Library Home Page - LRC main page with basic information about the LRC including contact information and hours of operation.
• On-Line Resources - Links to databases and other Internet resources organized by subject and course.
• Magazines / Journals - List of print periodicals in the LRC collection. You must visit the LRC in person to use these titles.
• Audio / Video - List of audio cassette tapes and VHS video tapes in the LRC collection.
